We
Just Had A Great Party, Our
5th Annual Clarinet & Saxophone
Party.

 We
had two great clinicians attending
the party this year. Dr. Raphael
Sanders, clarinet instructor at
Stephen F. Austin University at
Nacogdoches, Texas (on the left
side of the picture). And Dr. John
Scott, clarinet instructor from
the University of North Texas at
Denton. These men have helped thousands
of students to achieve their goals. |

the clinicians, and the students. |
One of the students said it was hard to decide if they should eat the snacks provided or continue playing the clarinets. Also, some of the students are playing on the expensive professional clarinets provided by Leblanc and Buffet factory representatives. |
It
was a great party. All the
students seemed to enjoy themselves.
We are grateful to G. Leblanc
Corporation and Boosey & Hawkes
Corporation for sending their
factory represenatives with
car loads of professional saxophones
and clarinets for the students
to try. Mr. Kevin Criblez with
Leblanc, and Mr. Ted Dolan
with Boosey & Hawkes are
both class acts that represent
their respective companies
in a class way.
When all was said and done, it was hard to tell who had the most fun, the students, the clinicians, or our store employees. |
During
the party several students and
teachers sight read some clarinet
choir music. They do look serious
don't they?
