Ben
Motley Bynum is a 2003 graduate
of Overton High School. He is currently
a freshman at Stephen F. Austin State
University where he is a music major.
His emphasis at SFA is Euphonium and
he also enjoys playing Upright Bass
for the SFA Jazz Band. Ben began his
musical career, learning violin at
age seven. In 1993, he joined the Tyler
Preparatory Orchestra and in 2003 he
graduated as a member of the Tyler
youth Orchestra. In 1997, Ben began
to play French Horn and was a member
of the ATSSB All-Region band from 1998-2003.
He also received Division I ratings
at TSSEC for each of those years and
was a member of the ATSSB All-State
Band in 2003. |

Sean
Dodd is
a 2003 honor graduate of Overton
High School. He was a member
of the ATSS All-State Band
twice and has earned two Division
I medals at TSSEC for tuba
solos and one for ensemble.
Sean also earned a place in
the 5A All-Area Orchestra his
senior year. His other accomplishments
include placing two times in
debate at the state level,
National Honor Roll, National
Merit Scholar, and Who’s
Who Among High School Seniors.
Sean is currently a freshman
at the University of Texas
at Tyler where he is a pre-law
major. He also performs with
the UT Tyler Wind Ensemble
and Jazz Band. |

Jennifer
Michelle Wilson is
a 2003 honor graduate of Overton
High School.
She was a member of the ATSSB All-State
Symphonic Band on French Horn her junior
and senior years. She earned five Division
I medals at TSSEC. In addition, she
was named UIL Outstanding Performer
in 2003. Jennifer is currently a freshman
at Stephen F. Austin State University
where she is majoring in music education.
She is a member of the SFA Wind Ensemble
and was named to the President’s
List with a 4.0 GPA in the fall. Jennifer
is also an active member of Beta Omicron
Beta, the first military marching fraternity. |
