Jupiter Serial Number History

Production of Jupiter instruments began in 1986, From 1986 through 1989 = alpha-numeric beginning with the letter "S". Example: STR-600ML Trumpet.

From 1990 to the present, the sequence for the model number begins with the letter "J". Example: JTR-600ML.

During 1998, serial numbers also became alpha-numeric beginning with the letter "A".
