Friday August 8, 2008, the
East Texas Jazz Orchestra
played the gala at Teen Mania Ministries
and it was great. The event was
held at the Teen Mania Ministries
headquarters at Garden Valley,
Texas. The staff had the event
organized to the last detail and
as usual, it came off without a
hitch. That is no small thing considering
the attendance was over sixteen
hundred (1600) people. 
We
got a lot of praise from both the
ministries administration and the
audience at the party. We are
always grateful when folks are
appreciative of our band. Working
with these people gives one hope
for the future.
