Friday August 12, 2005, the East
Texas Jazz Orchestra
played the gala at Teen Mania Ministries
and it was great. Christina
Lowery and her staff had the event
organized to the last detail and
it came off without a hitch.
That is no small thing considering
the attendance was over fourteen
hundred (1400) people. 
We
got a lot of praise from both the
ministries administration and the
audience at the party. We are
always grateful when folks are
appreciative of our band. I was
concerned about playing for a group
where most of the people would
be teenagers. However, they seemed
to love the band and the performance.
